IFTIIN Woman Right Development Organization (IWRDO) is a humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Somalia, particularly women, children, and the elderly. Established in 1999 in the Bakool and Bay regions, IWRDO focuses on education, women’s rights, income generation, and community development. Through advocacy, training, and collaborative efforts, we aim to build a resilient, self-reliant, and inclusive society.
Supporting primary and adult education (e.g., reading, writing, and computer skills). Providing vocational training for women and youth, such as tie-and-dye, entrepreneurship, and business development. Promoting girl/child education and facilitating school enrollments for vulnerable groups, including IDPs and host communities.
Training women in business skills, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Advocating for women’s rights, including participation in decision-making and leadership roles. Raising awareness on eradicating female genital mutilation (FGM) and promoting gender equality.
Conducting awareness programs to eradicate HIV/AIDS. Promoting nutrition education for families, especially mothers and children.
Rehabilitating wells and improving access to clean water for communities. Promoting hygiene and sanitation awareness and training for women to improve the social environment.
Providing humanitarian support for displaced people affected by drought, conflict, and other crises. Implementing peacebuilding initiatives and supporting community resilience.
Organizing youth awareness campaigns to prevent militia enrollment. Promoting environmental conservation through tree planting and sustainable farming practices.
